Over 10 years ago my original account was stolen and back then I tried to recover it so they said just make a new one. Is it possible now to recover my Bitcointalk account that was over 10 years old?

Why would they allow the thief who took me original account to just keep it and I have to just make a new one? I think at the time I was working on a payment gateway it would be nice to have that account back

Are you just letting the forum know about the stolen account now or you created a thread before? If you are letting the forum know about this issue now it means you didn't value the account because if you do, you would have created a thread since 10 years ago. Well, I don't think you can actually recover the account back unless you are very good at hacking and coding. I think if you would have let the forum know about this since 10 years ago they would look for a way to check if the account is active or not because if they stole it from you the person will definitely use it but if it is not stolen it will not be active perhaps you forget your password.
I wonder why he is bringing up his stolen account that happened 10 years ago. What happens those times he notices that his account is stolen? Why didn't he scream out loud for a solution so the forum members would know how to direct him on what to do? He kept quiet all through, expecting that his forgotten account could be recovered at any time he chooses without disclosing the account name. From what I have seen, this is a loss account for the OP, since he lost access to the account we don't know of.
