It's not like we couldn't prove ownership of the account — the Bitcointalk forum staff simply never replied to our email.
Just a guess:
Maybe, you didn't get any response from the recovery team, because you didn't send the email from the email address used for registering that bitcointalk account.
I am confirming again that the email was sent from the registered address we used to create our forum account. The email address is
bspin@bspin.ioAssume that a company has an account here in bitcointalk and the recovery team accept any email sent from their website domain as a proof of ownership.
What if each of employees of the company has an email address with the website domain? Then all employees can recover the account.
Unfortunately, the owner of the company does not operate the Bitcointalk account directly. It is managed by employees, and those employees may change over time. Not everyone has access to the same email accounts. For example, the support team uses
support@bspin.io, while
bspin@bspin.io is monitored by the project owner. As long as the email is sent from the address used to register the forum account, that should be sufficient to prove ownership of the account.
