Now the question is where do you fit in? Where is your interest? Everyone has different perspectives, abilities and financial levels. If you want short term profits then stick to trading if you want a slow way invest your money in proven assets like BTC. If you want to do it all, it doesn't matter, the most important thing is that you know the risks and have everything you need. Personally, my income is not too big so what I do is focus on long term investment even though I can trade but I am not very active, for me trading is very difficult.

One thing is both has their risks but the risk varies and one thing i usually tell people if your capital isn’t that much to gamble about and you don’t have any prior knowledge or enough time to seek the knowledge of trading which is very deep compare to that of investing I will say you should stick to only investing and not just in any coin but bitcoin to help reduce the risk of losing money.

Aside the financial capital and risk that can restrain one from being a trader having a lot of time to spend on learning and actually analyzing the market also is a very important factor in trading so for someone who has an extra job which takes his time then he can simply just invest or do swing trading which is a trade that its position can be open for like days, weeks and months
