Some experience of a node operator:
I think it is a very interesting experience.
It would be interesting to know more: total bitcoin allocated to the node, technical commitment, how much maintenance is needed, etc.
I guess node operator could be a full time job.
so if LN is supposedly
"cheap
",
"independent
" and all that
crap buzzwords of
"decentralised
", "be your own bank
"his node charged 3.6m sats for the use of his channel funds over a week.. but he then had to pay someone 2.9m sat 'offchain cost'.. giving the guy only 0.7m sat profit
emphasis: "offchain cost" (facepalm)if applepay charges app owners 40% for using their payment system ends up in court .. how about LN hubs/managers charging 80%if applepay charges app owners 40% for using their payment system ends up in court .. how about LN hubs/managers/LN app creators charging 80%
just remember folks
devs didnt cause issues to bitcoin to make it better, they caused issues to:
promote LN being the fix of the issues they caused to bitcoin
make profit as middle men on LN because they cant take middle men 'costs' from actual bitcoin transaction
