A president alone can't uproot a corrupt system, especially when the rot runs deep through every institution. But it's not impossible. Reform starts with a coalition, civic pressure, judicial integrity, and transparency must work together. Leadership matters, yes, but without grassroots support and institutional overhaul, one honest leader will just get chewed up by the machine. We’ve seen this movie too many times across countries, change only sticks when the people push alongside the leader, not just watch from the sidelines.
