It happened outside the box and there is always a level of controversy that happens so the referee makes the decision. Venezia will be back in the second division after failing to maintain a place in Serie-A and maybe next season they will have to fight even harder to get back into Serie-A. Juventus got a ticket to the Champions League despite going through quite a tough challenge this season and I hope next season they come with much better competition.

It is quite unfortunate that Empoli had to be relegated because they should have been able to stay in Serie-A if they had won their last match, but it is quite unfortunate that this did not happen and the same goes for Monza where this season they had to return to the second division because of their very poor performance.

To be fair it is better for Venezia to be in Serie B, because they never looked like a Serie A level team. Which means that we have never seen them do any better, they looked like they were not good at all, and because of that I never trusted them to do good.

This causes a ton of situations and because of that we are not going to see them have any chance at this level. Going back to Serie B means, they will be financially at a more comfortable place, and they can afford to have a great team there, because they can afford to be top team there, and will try again. Plus, winning Serie B gives them more money than relegating from Serie A, hence it is a smarter financial decision to be back there too, at least for one more season, possibly for maybe two.
