Sooner or later, they will addicted to gambling. Once that is happen, they will ruin everything they have and even their life.
Each gambling addicted is different. Being gambling addicted isnt something uncurbable and does not mean that everyone will ruin their lives with 100% probability. I think everyone who has tried gambling at least several times are already addicted, because they return to gambling anyway. We have different forms of addiction, someone return and gamble daily, someone on special occasions, someone gamble once each month. But that does not mean we all are moving towards ruining lives.
I agree and that also means that some gamblers who make gambling a place to seek entertainment and pleasure can also be said to be addicts because they gamble more than once, that means what you said is quite true that when we become a gambler it does not mean that we are heading towards the destruction of life, there are always some gamblers who are still fine even though they often come and play and they are gamblers who do come with the pure intention of seeking entertainment without being affected by defeat. In my opinion, an addiction that has the potential to destroy life is when a gambler comes with the intention of seeking income and that is different from gamblers who come with the intention of just filling their free time.
