exactly, and i bet 98% of the players would prefer a cash bonus that they can either cashout or play with if they want, and shipping an expensive physical gift around the world can be a pain for both the sender and the receiver. for example, if the item isn't a DDP shipment, the receiver will have to deal with customs fees.
imagine you get a $10k item and have to pay $3k or who know how much just to clear it.

the shipping company would. and most expensive items are usually insured, so it shouldn't be really a problem, it will just be a pain for the sender to get reimbursed.
