You made a mistake, it's actually 2024/25 season and not 2022/23 season as you earlier stated. Yeah, Inter Milan gave too much priority to the Champions league and they suffered unavoidable defeats in their domestic Cup game and league games at some point. With all the things that has happened to them in those domestic competitions and them not winning any of it, it will be a relief for them to win the UCL if not it's really gonna be a bad blow to the team and fans in general. As for Lazio, I like it that they didn't make any European competition for last season, it's their payment for not winning against Lecce.

I was wondering what they would do in the European league next year, but after losing the last match against Lecce in an interesting way, they will have to compete only in Italy next year. Well I kind of liked how Lazio didn't qualify for it. I picked Lazio straight win in their match against Lecce knowing fully well what's at stake, if Lazio wins they will qualify for an European football if they don't and Fiorentina wins, Fiorentina will take their spot and I was almost sure that Fiorentina will win too. If Lecce wins, they will escape relegation. This was my thoughts and I picked Lazio to win thinking that they will be needing the win more than Lecce because they're stronger than them, but Lazio had something else in mind and it's good they lost. They made me lose my bet and they lost an European spot. Sounds fair to me 1 - 1, lol.
