After Heidenheim successfully defended their Bundesliga spot and escaped relegation by winning the playoffs against Elversberg (Aggregate 4-3), we now know all the Bundesliga clubs for the 2025-26 season, which are as follows (in alphabetical order):

1. FC Heidenheim
1. FC Köln
Bayer Leverkusen
Bayern Munich
Borussia Dortmund
Borussia Mönchengladbach
Eintracht Frankfurt
FC Augsburg
FC St. Pauli
Hamburger SV
Mainz 05
RB Leipzig
SC Freiburg
TSG Hoffenheim
Union Berlin
VfB Stuttgart
VfL Wolfsburg
Werder Bremen

The two new clubsteams are Hamburger SV and FC Koln, so fairly established clubs which are not new to the Bundesliga.

Any early predictions for the new season? I don't expect Bayern to have any serious competition, and I think Dortmund has the potential for the 2nd place. The way they overcame their problems and managed to finish in the 4th place was impressive. I think Nico Kovac deserves a lot of credit for that.
