I still can’t understand why Bayer Leverkusen skipped Erik Ten Hag as manager after Xabi Alonso. Because he had a very bad career at Manchester United. He had problems with all the players he transferred. He couldn’t get along with a star like Cristiano Ronaldo. Also, the players he transferred couldn’t be used at Manchester United, they were used at the teams he went to. The latest example of this is Antony. Before him, Jadon Sancho, who had a good season at Borussia Dortmund, can be given as an example. I don’t think he could use young players efficiently. That’s why I think Leverkusen made a risky choice.
Here are some reasons why Leverkusen still chose Erik Ten Hag as the next coach of Leverkusen After left by Xabi Alonso.
In the interview,:
- their ideas about football are the same, between Leverkusen and Ten Hag
- a more technical and dominant coach
- continuing with the Werkself style in the future

But unfortunately, having just arrived as a new coach, it seems that Ten Hag will lose one of Leverkusen's key players, Florian Wirtz, an Attacking Midfielder who is the top 2 assists in the Bundesliga.
