Right. Cake Wallet docs has a brief tutorial about Tor and Orbot that bitcoin talk can read to get some more information.

It doesn't say much but covers certain performance topics. There is also a recommendation not to sync more than 100 Monero blocks due to Tor being so slow and the time it's going to take to finish the operation.
