I agree with you. Let's take it to the workplace setting. If for example, an organization takes care of the welfare of their staff to the level of comfort that their is right and their salaries are also increased in the right proportion that they never have to worry about anything again, the performance of the staff and their organization will see a new leap beyond expectation because everyone will want to give in their best. The same common sense knowledge is carried into the Nigerian football or sport space. The NFF knows what to do but just don't want to do it.
You’ve said it just right, sometimes you would find it that, it falls to the NFL to set the standard to wish, these players would want to perform so as to attain. Some of these would be due to motivation. What they are here to play for. As it is, it’s mostly due to patriotism and for fun. It has to go beyond that you know but, the country isn’t very much into football these days. It was much better in the 90s, we had players who’s names where well pronounced at the world level.
So Nigeria did beat Ghana in the friendlies, hope they come to the tournaments with same spirit.
