You should never gamble or bet if your state is not complete mental balance. I understand that this is trivial, but unfortunately our human psychology works in such a way that we want to quickly fix a bad situation by any means.
We hate stress and want to get out of it so quickly that it turns off our logic. As a simple example, I will give the fact that some gamblers, when they see that their deposit in the casino is decreasing, immediately begin to increase the beta value.
But is this the right tactic? Hardly.
Well, for some, it does work, that is increasing their bet value so that their next win can help cover for the loses they can sustained or encountered in the last couple of bets, for some gamblers, this strategy works because they are lucky, gambling is all about who is lucky and who isn't, its not all about what we do or how we choose to do things..
For example, there is absolutely no guarantee either that if you do not increase your bet value, you won't still end up losing your balance, you will still lose your balance if luck isn't on your side, even if you reduce your bet value to enable you play for longer, balance will still turn zero when luck is absent.
I would not call that a strategy, I would call that a sure path towards greater losses. It may work out sometimes if you are very lucky, but that will push you to repeat this method again and again and eventually it will burn you hard. At that point, you will never recover your full losses and have just created even bigger losses than the ones at the beginning.
In my country, the case is different. You find most of those broke guys and low income earners everywhere you find the gambling shops. You would be annoyed at them and some of them even, they don’t even get to go home when they should. Reason been that, there is nothing waiting back home at them and so, they are constantly on gambling screens seeking for their financial break through and most times, they just end up more broke than they came. Gambians where you go seeking for money if you don’t own the business.
Yes, well often poverty is related to low education, bad thinking skills and little resistance to urges. They can't help themselves.
