He was active recently, I do hope he can change it, too.

I just remembered what Charles Barkley said during the post-game TNT discussions. He said that the Knicks won by countering the Pacers by minimizing their fast-paced type of game.

Now the question: Are the Pacers really just dependent on that type of game?

Well, if you could see their stats, most of their scores are from fast-break points. There are not many post-up plays, it's mostly Siakam who does this. But once the Knicks have set their defense, the Pacers have difficulty completing an offensive play.
I think the Knicks already knew that, but they must still be careful if a sudden shift happens. That's how the playoffs work. Adjustments.
If we look at the records, it's actually the points in the paint that are missing on the Pacers' side. They rarely attack on a half-court play, and they mostly shoot outside, unlike how the Knicks keep on attack mode.
That is not always the case, not for the whole season, they just realized Knicks wasn't as fast as them so they just adjusted their system, not really adjusted but more like they are doing what they always do, but a bit faster.

Pacers is very athletic, from their guards to their big, they are all fast and athletic, which means they can run for 48 minutes a lot more, and Knicks are more technical, which means that I would put Knicks over Pacers if we were talking about pure talent, but the reality is that they are far slower and rigid. Hence why we saw Pacers looking much faster and score quicker, not as a strategy but because they can, so why would they stop and do a half court play when they could just run and score?
