The laws are usually against the male folks.
In the western countries precisely, where I come from if you divorce your husband, you have no claim to anything that is not registered in your name and neither does your husband have right to properties that are not his, but after court proceedings and it is your husband's fault that the home is broken, he would be compelled by the court to pay you damages, but not in any way to share his fortune with you. However, the husband is compelled to pay child support for his children.
It is not in all cases that the woman is a gold digger. There are some cases in which the woman deserves half and even more of the family properties. I know some women who married their husbands when they were poor and these women supported these men until they became wealthy. Some of them were even partners in family businesses. Divorcing these hardworking women without substantial compensation would be wrong. In fact, these women deserve more than the men.

The law in your country should also protect women's interests against exploiters. Some men will take advantage of this law to divorce their wives because they want to bring in another woman.
