Both Onana and Bayindir let the club down last season by conceding unnecessary goals, that cost them a title even in the Europa League final. I was disappointed by their results last season, after spending a lot of money on players, they failed to finish in a good position and were unable to defend the Europa League league title despite their unbeaten record.

We saw the benefit of Chelsea investment in young players under Pochettino, as those players improved and won trophy. They have completed the Cunha deal, and the next target is Mbuemo. If they can get Mbuemo from Brentford, they should not stop there, they must look for another striker who can convert some opportunities into goals, unlike Hojlund, who we expected would improve during his second season.
