This is the major reason why emergency and reserve fund are kept aside, you don't have to temper with your holdings because you have something important to do with money, it's only advisable to start taking profit from your holdings when you have gotten to the level of over accumulation, not when you are still in the middle of your accumulation journey, that's a terrible time to be selling off your holdings for any reason.

I quite agree with you on the basis that it is not advisable to sell part or all of your bitcoin assets or holdings for any reason, be it to settle some financial obligations because that is where your emergency funds comes in. As a bitcoin investor whose initial strategy is based on the long term goals of accumulation and holding , it is not wise to sell your holdings whenever you have an important thing to do with money, because if you continue selling for such reasons weather you’re on profit or not, there will come a time when you will not be on profit again and you might decide to even sell off all or parts of your assets just to settle your financial needs and by so doing you’re gradually losing your assets and you might end up not continuing with your accumulation. As an investor you should be able to make available your emergency funds incase of any financial obligations arise, you’ll not be tempted to sell your bitcoin assets or even take out your profit just because of the fact that you need money for an important thing, because your emergency funds is there to make use of in such scenarios. The least you could do as an investor is if you noticed that you have accumulated enough even more than your targeted portfolio, you can just take out your profit and still continue with your accumulation and holding, you’re taking the profit not because you have an emergency need for finance or to settle some bills.
