Most people doubt Ten Hag because previously Leverkusen had a coach who was able to make some big changes to the club and vice versa with some players who have left the club. But we can see next season how Ten Hag can give his best even though he needs time to adjust. At least being able to compete in the top three and qualifying for the Champions League is more than enough because it is not easy to make a team compete for the championship title with the current conditions.
Because it will not be easy enough to compete in the championship position for Leverkusen, at least Leverkusen must be able to bring in some quality players to improve the team's strength to be better. Because Ten Hag will find it easier to organize and provide his tactics to more qualified players so that the Leverkusen team is not in a worse condition next season. I also hope that the Leverkusen team can still be a strong competitor in the Bundesliga even though Alonso is no longer coached.
The question is whether Leverkusen is able to bring in quality players with the current financial conditions?
I'm not sure Leverkusen can afford to spend big money to comply with Erik Ten Hag's wishes. Meanwhile, ETH has previously had a bad experience that may make most doubt how the future of Bayer is in the hands of Ten Hag.
