Once you preview a post or PM it automatically saves in your profile draft. It is even best for posts that might serve as a forum projectlong term projects or posts that still requires more  research or informative posts. This draft can take up to 100 posts and lasts up to 7 days.

For replies or thread that seems beneficial or informative if the watch button doesn't feel comvinent you can always have multiple tabs and have a special one indexed just for the topic or preferably have bookmark the address that is if you are using chrome or Firefox alternatively you can use Google keep to track those special threads or toplc. Adding extra feature like having a keeper for important posts might have heavy load on the database and will require acquiring more band width.
