Well, politics sure is a messy thing and these things are happening. Like what they say, in politics and everything, the only permanent is change.
Thing is, unless you consider everything in life being about politics, this didn't happen because of politics or because of their political careers.
They are acting like they have always been acting and that was about to clash no matter what. Only difference is that they have now more power and they are being watched and subject of news. Trump throwing a tantrum wouldn't be news unless he wasn't a president and basically the leader of republican party. Without it, it would be considered as acting like trump does and he would be in jail already.
And Elon throwing a tantrum would be seen just childish behavior, but because he is responsible both to his shareholders and US citizens, it's damaging behavior and it's news.
They are not acting like this because of politics. Political power is just another tool to actualize what they have always been about. They are just being themselves.
People are full of themselves. Before, they were flaunting about the corruption that they're unveiling and now, both are in tantrums and just throwing here and there the uglies that they probably want to say long time ago. Just two big people playing all of the public drama that they can do easily and get the attention since they're both known. I wonder how long this fight of theirs are going to take but Elon just throwing his opinions on it won't really make a move if he thinks Trump should be impeached.
