Competitive your said, I don't think so, they got lucky to have qualified to the UEFA champions by chance and also qualified to be in the English premiership which is their domestic league by the same luck if, if we should consider the position they finished at during the recent concluded last season there's no way we wouldn't say they were lucky, so I rather say they were lucky than using the word collective, although the weren't too bad in the UEFA Europa league because they have to defeat some teams to be in the finals of the competition where they defeated Manchester United in a 1:0 victory to become the present champions of UEFA Europa league but the were the shadow of themselves in the English premier League, although kudo's to them.

Regardless of anything, Tottenham Hotspur are still at their own level, they are not better and not worse even though they finished in the bottom position of the Premier League standings, but last season they were able to win the Europa League title, which was enough to make them confident again.
