Yes I understand how you can perceive him like that, but there also are things I’ve heard when it comes to his intentions and his attitude. The welcome start is when someone identifies themselves by the community he belongs to, like identification with the Nigerian community. Of course, we also need more than just acknowledgment of identity, we all want real contributions. If you notice that he’s not being consistent, perhaps you should not criticize him, but help take him in the right way through more open and honest interaction. At times people are only stirred when they know that they are not only noticed, but that they are being looked for. If he is really worthy of being a representative let that be as a result of his actions not because of being forced.
