In general, it seems to me that we can be a little stricter and demand more reciprocity from the participants for the forum.
I was offering several times that we do a side pool with my higher buy in. Like 5 mBTC or 10mBTC and then winner takes all, or first 2 or whatever depending how many of us are there.But for regular pool, buy in has to be around 1-2 mBTC max. It is now more than 200$ for one month long pool. Anything more than that is pushing it and sponsors need volume.
I am hating superbu more and more so not really interested in paying more for it. But we can make one mini fantasy league with 5 mBTC buy in, winner takes all. If there is 5 of us it could be really nice. And I think, igebotz, icopress, crypotofrka, me and maybe buwaytress, Hhampuz, you.... could be peer pressured to part with that much money.
My idea is to increase participation in the main pools, side ones are another matter. Yes, 1 mbtc is the most relevant contribution for the pool, but I consider SuperBru and Fantasy as two different pools. I think no one will suffer if they get a "set" of pools - after all, there is good sponsorship money, why not?
By the way, the fact that these pools will last only a month is not a disadvantage, but on the contrary, a plus - traditional pools are difficult for many precisely because they require attention for 9-10 months.
