since what you require to exchange your naira to dollar's is just an email verifications, it sound privacy enhancing enough for p2p to be recommended for forum newbies not to expose entities all in the name of trying to carry out p2p transactions.
I guess you are wrong on what you just started above regarding only Gmail verification that is needed to enable you have access to it's p2p feature, because I have been an active Remitano user for more than 5yrs now, and I just checked it's different verification levels, and noticed that the least level, which happens to be "Level 1", the requirements that you need to enable you have access to it's p2p is not only Gmail, but also a phone number verification as shown below in the image. Whereby you will only be allowed to buy just only 75 USD,  withdraw coin worth just only 100 USD within 24hrs and deposit unlimited amount.
Remitano is a good option for newbies, but certainly not the best. As the holder of the highest verification level with Remitano, iI don't see what they offer that the major exchanges don't. I could remember that I was compelled to verify my account due to the restrictions on the money I could transact on their P2P. Their average limits on deposits/withdrawals on various crypto assets are also on the high end when compared with other major exchanges. That was what forced me to Binance then, and I tell you, I did not miss Remitano till today. It has been about 7 years now.

I can't forget about their pricing either. Their prices are not as fair as those of the major exchanges. You can imagine the amounts in thousands of Naira you have to let go of if you are transacting a reasonable amount.
