I guess he is asking what would happen if he accidentally destroys/ damages or loses his hardware wallet and what he should do to recover it. I do not think he is planning to do it on purpose.

OP, the 13th or 25th word you add to the words generated by your hardware wallet is actually part of the wallet seed. This is why you will need it to recover your wallet, so you need to keep it safe (store it in a different place from the rest of the seed words). Also, don't confuse the passphrase with the wallet password as they are completely different things.

I guess he is asking what would happen in caseif he intentionally <accidentally destroys/i> destroy/damage damages or loseloses his hardware wallet and what he should do to recover it. I do not think he is planning to do it on purpose.
