I still do not feel that Barcelona will want to sell him because of his age now, they will continue to keep him until his contract is expired and even though it is and he still wants to renew the contract with them and come to an agree terms, he’ll still continue to play for them.

Yes, we know how good Lewandowski's performance but we also cannot deny about Lewandowski's age. He is 36 and that is critical age for a player that he is not young anymore. His contract expires in 2026 so that means, Barcelona only have 1 year to have Lewandowski. Not to mention if he get injury while perform so Barcelona search for the next generation that have a good talent as Lewandowski as his successor. Yes Lewandowski age has gone far however his still a very good player and his still performing very well, in terms of having injury I think is not about age, young players also have injury so Lewandowski having an injury those not have anything to do with his age, Barcelona should just find another player and buy a younger player so that there two can be changing each other that way Lewandowski won't have too much work load, some people are saying Barcelona don't need Lewandowski anymore because of his age but my question is if a players age has gone far those it mean that the player is no longer useful, Cristiano Ronaldo age has gone very far his 40 years old meaning his older than Lewandowski but Ronaldo is still playing very well he was the one that equalized the goal when they played against Spain, so as long as the player is still very active and playing very well then his good to go, Barcelona should keep using Lewandowski because his still very important to them.
