do you guys think bankroll management is important, or is it just making things more complicated?
Bankroll management is everything for me. Previously, I used to get frustrated and bet everything suddenly but now I don't do that. For example I deposit $200 and lost $30, I would just bet the remaining $170 on 1.2x and while it usually works, the losses were impossible to comprehend with.
Not only does it help in gambling but I think it helps also in real life, no? It teaches us how to be patient and teaches us how to manage our emotions well and not be impulsive. I am sure that people can learn from gambling and apply this in real life and all the other things we do.
That's the importance of bankroll management, if you can manage it well, there's certainly a stop-loss point that prevents you from incurring further losses.  It also stops you from chasing losses since you know when to halt your losses.  Moreover, effective management allows you to play longer, thereby increasing your chances of hitting a winning streak.

This is very important, by practicing this, you become a responsible gambler.
Set win and loss limits to determine when to stop playing, such as winning 20% or losing 20% of your bankroll.
