Only a reckless or addicted gambler will end up losing all their wealth in gambling even when they are not winning. As a responsible gambler, if you are not winning, you will know that you are on a losing streak, which you need to take a brake and continue later after you have recovered the money you have lost so far. So people gamble for fun and that is why they don't permanently stop gambling despite that it's a game of chance.
Yeah, knowing when to stop in gambling separates us from gambling addicts who can't think of anything else but gambling all the time. I have been friends with people who are addicted and it's not even funny how twisted their thinking is. Like one of my friends, you tell him an easy way to invest $200 and earn $50 but he would rather gamble that $200 and lose it, trying to win $2k. It's insane how brain works when you are addicted.

Everyone who understands how RTP works know that everyone time you wager an amount on a casino, the casinos keeps a small cut and pays you back 90-95% back, based on the house edge. That means if you keep gambling more and more you are just going to lose more money mathematically. But someone who is addicted is like a possessed person and it's impossible to explain them anything.
