The champions league is so difficult that sometimes even the defending champion can be eliminated at the league stage of the competition. But am optimistic that wouldn't be the fate of PSG by next season but them reaching the finals of the league again at a row is just more difficult as predicting them to win it again next season. They'll have to do the extraordinary of why they did last season to even get to find themselves again past the semi finals level.
Anyone that feels PSG can defend the title next season is not use to watching Champions League. If not they will understand that all clubs in this competitions are champions and you shouldn't underestimate any of them. PSG was underestimated previous seasons but look at how the wonderfully won the title this season. They can't win it again next season. This is why the league is unpredictable and interesting.
Yeah. But anyway, as difficult as it could be which we do know, it doesn't dislodge the possibility of any team winning it twice I'm a row. A clear example is Real Madrid, they actually won the champions league more than once in a row. So it's not totally impossible for PSG not to win it again next season but just that the odds to that happening are extremely high as a result of the intensive competition that the champions league is known for.
It is difficult to win back to back, so far only Real Madrid can, not underestimating PSG but the fact is like that. It can be seen when Man City won the treble winner even in that season they were very great like PSG now but what happened in the following season they failed in the champions league and failed to reach the final.
It is undeniable that PSG this season has indeed performed very impressively which was initially not taken into account in the UCL trophy fight but finally they became UCL champions. However for next season I think PSG's journey will be harder to defend the UCL title, next season many teams are building new strength especially Real Madrid and Barcelona. It could also be Liverpool and Man City who are the toughest competitors because Pep Guardiola is also building new strength after this season they ended the season without a title.
