True. Those bots are almost always a pain to deal with though since many of them don't easily connect customers with support agents and this is an area where many sites need to improve in.

I appreciate the addition of bots, but I do not appreciate the cons associated with them and many others would concur. It's a double edged sword basically.

I don’t think the bots are of any help to be honest. I prefer to directly speak to a live agent (either while chatting or on the phone) as the bot will not be able to help me. It frustates me that you need to jump through multiple hoops sometimes before you can speak to a live person.

I also have never liked interacting with a bot when ever I want to reach the customer care of any service, they simply are time wasters and nothing more, I always prefer to talk or chat with a real human customer care directly and straightforward than having to interact with a bot first.

This is just like when one put a call to a service provider, they will make you spend over 30 minutes talking with a bot before they finally decide whether or not to hook you up with a real humans assistant, this is always very annoying and something I usually find difficult to condone,
But then, some will say we the customers have no choice but to bear.
