I was surprised when I heard that Barcelona wants to part ways with Lewandowski because Lewandowski really performed well for Barcelona, and his goals helped Barcelona beat Real Madrid to the La Liga title this season. People should always verify information before they post it here because a lot of fake transfer news is flying around on the internet. Lewandowski is getting old, so you don't expect his performance to remain the same. Even at his age, Lewandowski was a big threat in the race for La Liga top scorer, and if not for his injury, he could have won the La Liga Golden Boot.

We have to threat rumors as rumors, and not necessarily pay much attention to them. AFAIK, it doesn't look like Lewandoski is leaving Barcelona for any reason. He has delivered in terms of performance despite injuries, but we all saw how their backup striker (Ferran Torres) stepped up when they needed him the most. I think at this point, Barcelona don't need to worry in that striking position because they've got it covered already. I think Lewandoski was leading the laliga top goal scorer at some point before getting injured (if I remembered correctly).

If you ask me, I believe Barce has what it takes to compete for next season. Maybe a little addition in the defense, and I also heard that they are very much interested in signing Nico Williams, who would definitely be a boost to their attack.
