Many people don't realize this but this is exactly why the US seems to ignore bitcoin, they are only focused on legalizing and controlling stablecoins. Because they know that most of the stablecoins in the market are pegged to the USD and as they become more popular, this will help maintain the strength of the USD. Even that would help USD dominance rise again.
