They will all have to cope with uncertainties while PSG and Barcelona, if the teams remain like they are for the most part, can keep growing from where they are. That can make a huge difference during a season. Uncertainties like injuries are a risk for every team and can change a lot for the worse out of a sudden, but if for example Barcelona is not running into serious physical problems during the next season, so many positions will be taken by outstanding players that have already played so well in the past season. There are no bad signs so far, no reason why Raphinha and Yamal would not perform their best for Barcelona or why PSG would not play as well anymore because they now won the CL. I think both teams will once again be able to deliver high quality performances all season long.

Well if this was last season them I would have said same thing myself but a whole of lot changes is going to happen and believe me many teams are going to step up their game and PSG, Barcelona won't be the two favorite again as I believe Bayern Munich, Manchester city (revived ) and ofcourse Liverpool and Real Madrid will all be rejuvenate and ofcourse ready to clash with the likes of the champions and the supposed wonder team which is Barcelona.

But then you didn't read my post correctly. Other teams can step up their game, I am not arguing that is not possible. But Barcelona and PSG have a foundation they can build upon right from the beginning of the season. This gives them an advantage. New cards will be shuffled, I agree with that, but do you think it is more likely that Barcelona will immediately perform on a high level with Raphinha, Yamal, Olmo, Lewandowksi, or do you think it is more likely that Guardiola will have fixed all the problems he had on the first day of the season?

I believe that nobody would be surprised if Barcelona wins the first game 5-0. At the same time many eyes will be on Manchester City because nobody is sure whether Guardiola was able to fix all the problems.

Real Madrid will be strong again and when I say Barcelona and PSG are favorites, this does not mean that Real Madrid is not a favorite. I only mentioned two and in the CL there are always many favorites, but Barcelona and PSG are definitely among them. Real Madrid had problems last season, too.

Then those you mentioned of course belong to the favorites, like Bayern Munich and Liverpool.
