That’s true, but no matter what the government does to ban gambling, it won’t completely stop it, like you said, people can always use a VPN. Still, it’s a big help in reducing addiction, since some people might just give up if it becomes too complicated compared to what they’re used to.

But at least those actions they done minimize the damage what it cause to people.

They could start to penalize those influencers and make them stop on their deceiving advertisement if they could put that on end then provably that addiction cases would decline. Situation would became better and better especially if government have strong will to stop those deceiving action done by those influencers who's hungry for referrals also money from people.

This is really complicated since somehow government is benefiting thru taxes they can get also possible kick backs from those casino owners.
