So what about you guys what do you think? You contributions matters.
If you do a survey on the biggest challenge gambling addiction has, many responses will be financial. Many of them gamble with money that is above their gambling budget. Others don't have a budget, so they cannot separate gambling funds from other important expenses.
Gamblers begin to have issues with their family when they spend more money or time on gambling. When a man uses money that he would have used to sort out the bills of his household for gambling, it will begin to cause relationship problems. Regarding jobs, a gambler will fail to perform his task effectively if he uses office time for gambling instead of work.
OP, my take is that if your gambling activities are affecting any area of your life negatively, you might be having a gambling disorder. Don't wait until multiple aspect of your life is affected before you seek help. Most of the factors you mentioned are interconnected and interrelated.
gambling don't have to cause a person financial problems first before he or she
can see it to be problematic. If gambling is interfering with your relationships or mental or in any area of your life it is already problematic. less take for example now you're not addicted to gambling but Just because you developed a gambling gambit and the habit is now causing problems with you and your wife or between you and your family even without even giving you a financial problems it is
alwaysalready problematic. Do you see it that way @Die_empty or you have something to say?
