You know that there was a time when one player (ghash.io mining pool) casually reached over 50% of the mining power, making Bitcoin centralised for a while and they had to self-restrict to bring it below 50%? PoW is not some flawless wonder many like to think.
That did not give them any real power over Bitcoin. To have power also means to be able to sustain power. Being able to do something once and then quicklyto lose your poweradvantage afterwards is not real power. If they had done something wrong, they would have forked themselves away from Bitcoin and lost everything. There are 2 kinds of entities in this context:.
  • Malicious: You lose everything after your attack.
  • Honest: The economic incentives keep you in line even if tempted, as you will lose everything after an attack.

POW is incomparably better to POS and anything that was developed after, soand as such I would consider it pretty flawless compared to the alternatives.  Kiss

What's cancer is a cult-like behaviour of the community shunning any legit concerns and criticism and shrugging off any issues with no arguments. No project can grow with that attitude.
It is not a legit concern, maybe stop reading propaganda on social media first? Wasting time on such future endeavours that may or may not be problems can be considered a psyops social attack to dilute efforts from pressing problems. I guess they got to you while you think you're a smart person.  Smiley
