Yup you are right, European competition is the reason De Bruyne rejected offers from other leagues, he is not interested in high salary at least for the next few seasons. Napoli is the right club for him to achieve his next target and we know Napoli have a good coach at the moment so next De Bruyne just needs to adapt. One thing that could hinder De Bruyne is injury problems well somehow he had to avoid this one, yeah the Serie A competition is not as tight as the Premier League so the risk of injury is lower.
