What we're seeing now is the result of greed; man is never satisfied with what he has and wants to have his brother's shares. War is ugly because it reflects the worst side of man: greed and fear.
If fear and greed are the worst side of man, hope and love are its opposite, and the things that will save us from destruction.
We must spread hope and love, and call for an end to war. If we have a majority calling for it, we cannot be ignored, and we can encourage these fighting countries to choose peace instead.

I was just going to add that the biggest disease in the world today is GREED as coin-investor
points out. Fear is an inbuild trait which we have EVOLVED with as a means of survival.

Look at Russia with the largest land mass on the planet and still they want more land by invading
parts of Ukraine

Look at Israel - gifted land they didnt own and still they want more so they take and persecute
their neighbours.

But like Fear, Greed is an inbuilt trait in us Humans, thats how we are the apex species on the planet,
we dominate everything else and try to dominate each other essentially because of greed in order
to get ahead.
