Honestly i don't believe in the concept of luck, in my opinion it's all decided by chance and the more your karma is positive the more you have hopes of making it, in my spiritual opinion. There is no person who is luckier than others, i would say more that there are people who are more deserving that karma makes them happy

You have to believe in luck as a gambler because that's the only way you can win in gambling, you may have different types of hope and have different positive thinking but without luck you may find it difficult to win your games. About luck, some people are actually luckier than others that's why they can have the opportunity to pick games and the outcome will favour them while others will pick games but they will have one selection that will spoil the game.

luck is not the only way, there's skill too
if you take a game like poker it's much more skill than luck
but I agree that if you take most games (slots as an example) then luck plays a role and sometimes there's zero skill to develop and it's all luck
those who are persistent gamblers over the longterm probably have a high degree of hope, regardless if they're profitable or not

In poker, yep I get it that if you're skilled enough you can win but sometimes that skill is to play with that luck given to you. It's like how you can adapt to certain situations and that makes luck play a big important role in different types of gambling. You're already playing in a table where you don't know what the outcome is, and that luck of yours is where you'll receive a good hand or not. But real skill shows in how you manage those weak hands, not just when everything goes your way. Skill helps you survive and make the most of what you have, but luck is always in the background, shaping the direction of the game, the point is no matter how prepared you are, luck will gonna fck that up.

For sure those poker players out there are that being able to realize this one. Yes, this can be considered to be also a skill based yet managing your hand will be that definitely be needed but in overall we would be still needing up that luck on which we dont be able to consider on what that "TURN" and "RIVER" comes out on Hold'Em or even on Omaha on which it will be depending on you on how you do handle it out on which of course just like been said that luck factor will always be that important as always specially when you are trying out to wait for something or card to come out. Anything on which do involves money betting or staking up something to earn money then you would definitely be needing on having that luck. Come to think that even dealing up with business or investment on which you would be still needing up to consider on having that luck factor for you to be able to succeed but of course you cant just that make yourself that rely with it specially into something that still requires skills and proper management.

On the time that you do play gambling then its impossible that you wont be able to distinguish that this stuff do really completely relies with luck and this is something that you do need up to consider or needing up to realize along the way. You cant just that make yourself that dealing up with it without having those considerations because once you do find yourself that being delusional then you would be ending up on having this kind of actions on which arent supposed to be done in the right way. Luck factor is important but not all the time on which it will definitely be basing up on what are the things that you've been dealing on with. Outsmarting luck would do no anything good into you but instead making yourself that being delusional will be just that making things even more problematic. Its recommended that you do know on what you are dealing and act accordingly.
