You’re correct since there’s no universal strategy that will work for everyone although he mention on his that the strategy don’t apply on him so he is not generalizing his statement rather just sharing an experience that different from others.

I’m always gambling in calculated by availing bonuses and tournaments while wagering using my bankroll normally. This way I will have other goal that can be achieved using my normal bankroll instead of no bonus.

I have limits on how much I can spend so that can control my losses to don’t exceed the amount of potential bonus that I can get.

yes the best way is probably treating bonus as a bonus and trying to make money regardless of the bonus existing or not, them enjoying the bonus
if you are profitable you won't need the bonus after all and it'll be a nice plus on top of your current balance
