Some gamblers claim that gambling can help them to cool off and overcome emotional challenges. This might be possible if they gamble solely for pleasure. For me, I need to concentrate while making predictions, hence emotional problems might be a barrier to a fruitful gambling experience. I prefer to engage in other activities like watching movies or playing computer games when I am not emotionally balanced rather than to gamble.
