What you said is quite reasonable, considering that gambling also has high risks at all times, it's a lie to say that with a good strategy you can make profits consistently, i don't think it will be that easy, after all luck is an important factor in gambling. Perhaps poker is one of those games that you have to use strategy when playing, it hones your thinking skills as you have to make decisions that will impact the balance you have, another one might be sports betting.

I don't know much about poker but sports betting definitely requires strategy, this doesn't mean that it guarantees win but if that bettor knows what he's doing then losses can be minimized.. casino games on the other hand has no strategy whatsoever that can be used to make profit... chasing profits usually ends up with big losses, so instead of fixing your mind on making profit just entertain yourself
