I can relate this to gambling while you are drunk or while drinking - not very good. I already experienced it, most of the time I keep losing.

There are people that use gambling is a distraction to certain things that they're experiencing, there are different hobbies that can be used as a distraction but gambling isn't one of them, gambling can't be a solution or an emotional support. Trying to do this would only make you lose more because you are not in the right state of mind. The best thing to do when you are down emotionally is to stay away from gambling

I completely agree, gambling when you're feeling down or unstable just makes things worse.
It's better to take a break and find a healthier way to cope, like talking to someone or doing some other activity, sometimes you are just pressured.
