Bangladesh were all out for 495. Bangladesh lost wickets quickly towards the end of the 2nd day but could not score enough runs. I thought Jaker Ali would bat aggressively towards the end but he got out for 8 runs off 16 balls. Bangladesh batsmen performed quite well, which is very commendable. However, Sri Lanka came out to bat, so far Sri Lanka have scored 59 runs for the loss of 1 wicket in 15 overs. Lahiru Udara batted almost in ODI style, he scored 29 runs off 34 balls, he should have batted patiently. Pathum Nissanka is unbeaten on 20 runs off 46 balls and Dinesh Chandimal is unbeaten on 7 runs off 12 balls. Taijul Islam is a reliable bowler for Bangladesh, he dismissed Lahiru Udara.

I thought I would see a little better batting from Jaker Ali. Since the three middle order batsmen Mushfiqur, Shanto and Liton batted brilliantly. Jaker Ali should have tried to add 30/40 runs to the scoreboard. But he could only collect 8 runs. After losing the fifth wicket for 458 runs, Bangladesh lost all their wickets after collecting only 37 runs.

Sri Lanka's top order started well. The team collected 100 runs in 27 overs and lost only one wicket. Pathum Nissanka 46 runs and Dinesh Chandimal collected 22 runs. Two very experienced batsmen and both have the ability to play big innings.
In fact, Bangladesh's lower order is very weak, so I never expect a good performance from Bangladesh's lower order batsmen. AnywayHowever the 3rd day 2nd session 2 is overended and the 3rd session beginsbegan. So far Sri Lanka have collected 276 runs losing 2 wickets. Sri Lanka's batting line is much better than Bangladesh's batting line, Sri Lanka's top order batsmen have performed well. Sri Lanka's opening batsman Pathum Nissanka has performed brilliantly, so far he is unbeaten on 160 runs. Bangladesh's bowling line is not bowling well enough in this match. However, the possibility of this match being a draw is very high.
