He would be preferred on the left wing. Yeah there is Raphinha as well and he had a superb season. But Hansi Flick would find a balance between their playing times. Besides Nico would be the part of a long term project. I don't think Raphinha would be the number one choice for many more years.

Their finances were really bad earlier. But after the recent season I have heard that they have made a great profit. This must make things easier for them to afford Williams.
There is already agreement with the player by the way. 6-year deal is on the table. Now they are just hoping to finish the deal with his team too.
