Even though he didn't mention as quick as possible or a specific time, I think yeah that his word choice sounds like he is rushing. You said some reasons on why rushing is not good. The other would be is that even if we say that we have a legit info, we can still lack of practice to perform the task very well. Passion is also important. Rushing may not totally mean that we don't have it because why we are here in the first place anyway? Maybe we only lack of it or our passion is not yet on the good/higher level and there should be something that can help us to increase it.
