Buying Gyokeres from Sporting can be considered as a gamble. He has £85m, 27 years old and played in portuguese league. No doubt the big clubs may be going to the striker that's cheaper than him. He must be patience enough waiting a club that is willing to gamble £85m for unproven striker like him. It's a very risky bet for sure.
The better he ask his team directly regarding his release clause. I think no club is keen on spending so much money just for 27 years old striker.

Even Arsenal goes to the Sesko instead of him.

it will be painful if he gets no new club at the end of window transfer.
To be fair, asking price is way way too much, 85 million isn't what he is worth and to be fair there are very very few people who ended up being worth that much to be fair, so it is not really a big deal. What we are seeing at this moment is how things are changing for them and Sporting will end up with a big change. What we are seeing here is Sporting making a huge mistake.

Because he has a contract and it will eventually end. So he will waste his years to make Sporting happy, but when that thing changes, we are going to see how he is going to be old by the time contract ends but he will be still at a better than Sporting team, hell if nothing else he could go to Saudi and make some money. For that reason Sporting will make no money if they do not sell him for something normal. He should be 50 million or so.
I do agree with you. 85 million is too much for Gyokeres. However, this is what his team wanted.

From Gyokeres's side, he looks so desperate with how his team promised to sell him 60 million, but increased it to the 85 million that not a lot of big clubs can afford. His transfer saga is just getting even more complicated how harsh his team wanna sell him for 85 million.
