Maresca knows he will probably be sacked before the end of the season if Chelsea do not perform. Considering Liverpool and Arsenal will be favourites to win the Premier League, I think Chelsea fans would be happy with a third or fourth place finish. In order to get the best combination, he will have to rotate the squad especially the strikers.
Maybe having Delap in the team is going to force Jackson to improve his goals and assists contributions.
Jackson continue to be awful ; 2 red cards in his last 3 games says a lot, I don't know how we got here but the standard at our club has reduced to nothing. We used to have Lukaku, Salah and KDB sit on the bench begging for game time, now we have Jackson playing every damn game and losing his head.
Liverpool won the league and has already added 3 good experienced players to their squad whereas our owners are moving around looking for kids to buy..the Manager is a fraud and the squad is awful, we spent a lot assembling dead woods. I'm pissed.
