Why confused? You just missed out on your luck that's all.

If you bet again with confidence you might still win, and if you bet again when you feel reluctant you can still lose. There is no correlation of gambling to superstitious belief, if you never hard that mentality dont start now. It will make you lose even more.

One major negative things about superstitious beliefs is that, the thought never ends in human life, as in, each time bad incidence happens in your life, your mind will still thinking about something else that doesn't even cause the delay, that's how this thing had been and it's a bad habit to constantly having a thought about some beliefs when something isn't go right.
In life, everything must not go as planned but sometimes it's all for your own good, that's why it's never good forcing but attracting, whatever you get forcing leaves someday, but whatever you got attracting remains for ever.
